Diversity in the classroom is becoming increasingly evident within the educational landscape. We are gradually moving away from rigid curricula in favour of greater flexibility and adaptation to the unique characteristics of our students. There is a recognised need to provide training for trainee teachers and continuing professional development for education professionals, with the aim of capitalising on the opportunities for social and cultural enrichment offered by this diverse reality across all areas of education. This special issue presents works based on musical and artistic experiences that contribute to increasing inclusion in the classroom across all its dimensions: social, cultural, economic, and in relation to cognitive or physical limitations, etc. In pursuit of full inclusion, which is increasingly necessary. To this end, we must equip teachers with realistic and accessible resources, comprehensive and high-quality training, as well as undertake significant support work with the families of pupils at an early age, as the holistic development of children can only be achieved through cooperation between family and teacher. In this new issue of the Journal of Learning Styles, various pedagogical proposals are presented that have addressed the design, implementation and evaluation of educational resources and teaching experiences with a musical and artistic basis, across all their cross-curricular and interdisciplinary dimensions.
