Abstract

Volume 15, Special Issue II (2022) - Participation as an educational tool for inclusion, coexistence and educational success.

As pointed out by the international reference organisations (EU, UN, UNESCO), participation is a factor of social and educational integration which must be developed from early childhood. Promoting joint ways of life within a framework of respect for diversity, participation and democratic development has become a commitment adopted by ministries of education in different countries around the world. The Council of Europe (2010) points out the importance of promoting an education that enables pupils to participate in society, understanding participation as a fundamental tool for the development of coexistence and inclusion.
