The aim of this study is to analyze how the use of theatre in the classroom enhances students’ knowledge and motivation from an intergenerational perspective. The chosen methodology involved staging the play “La Asamblea” by the theatre company El Timbal in the classroom. After the performance, a debate-forum was held, and the results were collected through a questionnaire to assess what had been learned regarding cooperative societies. Participation criteria included attending the performance and being either a first-year student in the Business Administration and Management degree or a senior student in the Social Economy Program. A total of 130 people attended, of whom 115 completed the survey. The data were analyzed using the software, Atlas.ti, which produced a conceptual map. In conclusion, the use of theatre in the classroom creates a dynamic learning environment in which undergraduate and senior students are immersed in situations that require active collaboration and promote the exchange of experiences between different generations.
