Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- Reference format: APA 7th Edition Guidelines
- 3 authors maximum
- Resumen: 150 a 200 palabras traducidas para inglés y español / español e inglés o/ en portugués e inglés. It should refer to the objective, subject matter, key aspects, methodological procedure and results.
- Keywords: a maximum of five words separated by a semicolon
- Representative title of the manuscript (80-100 characters including spaces)
- Title, Abstract and Keywords in English and Spanish / Spanish and English or English and Portuguese / Portuguese and English
- Structure and development of the text: title, abstract, key words (translations), summary (including sections and sub-sections), introduction, methodology, development (theoretical framework, results and analysis), conclusions and references (in APA 7th edition and French indentation).
- Annexed document that includes the authors' data, institutional affiliations, e-mail and ORCID.
- 6,500 words maximum
- Format: A4-size paper; 3 cm top and bottom margins and 2,5 cm left and right margins; Arial 12; 1 line spacing; justified text
- The manuscript includes references (3 o +) related to the research area, scope and publications of the Journal of Learning Styles
- The author must include at the end of the article Information on the specific contribution of each one of the authors to the published articles, reference to the non-existence of conflict of interest on the part of the authors and the funding, in the event that the text is developed in the context of a funded study, research and/or competitive project.
- The ‘anonymised’ document is presented in the format and structure set out in the “template” for articles which is available to authors in the ‘submission guidelines for authors’ section.
- The ‘policies’ established by the Learning Styles Journal in the ‘approach and scope’ section as well as the ‘publication standards’ are accepted.
- Only original and unpublished articles will be accepted, and it is essential that the proposed papers are not submitted (either in part or in whole) for publication in other journals or editorial bodies.
- Language: Articles may be submitted in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
- Metadata: All authors must be registered at the beginning of the journal submission process. Authors must complete their profile including their email address, institutional affiliation, ORCID and BIO (max. 150 words).
SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES SUBJECT MATTER

BOOK REVIEWS
Assessment or constructive criticism that discusses in detail a recently published book or monograph on the thematic line of Journal of Learning Styles.
THEMATIC SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ARTICLES
