Práticas de ensino e aprendizagem online em Macau, Portugal e Brasil: na senda de um modelo pedagógico virtual global pós pandemia

Resumo

A pandemia Covid-19 teve um profundo impacto nos processos pedagógicos das universidades de ensino presencial. O confinamento obrigatório da população universitária implicou a transposição do ensino presencial em sala para as aulas realizadas online, levando a um aumento considerável do uso de sistemas de videoconferência, estabelecendo novas (ou reforçando as existentes) comunidades de aprendizagem online. Estas práticas de aprendizagem online tendem a se manter após o fim da pandemia na medida em que proporcionem alternativas complementares de contacto, partilha e colaboração em rede, determinando formas não estruturadas de modelos pedagógicos híbridos de ensino a distância.

Neste artigo descrevemos práticas concretas de ensino online implementadas durante a pandemia em duas universidades de ensino presencial, a Universidade de São José em Macau; e a Universidade de São Paulo, Brasil, procedendo à sua análise crítica à luz da práxis de ensino a distância online em voga na Universidade Aberta, Portugal, uma universidade virtual de ensino a distância, tendo em vista a definição de um modelo pedagógico virtual de cariz geral que possa proporcionar princípios e linhas mestras para o planeamento, organização e implementação de oferta educativa de nível universitário administrável online para os tempos pós-pandémicos suportada nas evidências da pesquisa e tendências emergentes.

Adérito Fernandes Marcos, University of Saint Joseph, Macao (China)

Adérito Fernandes-Marcos is grad. in Comp. Science Eng. from the Nova University of Lisbon, Portugal; holds a Ph.D. in Comp. Graphics from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany; and Habilitation (agregação) in Techn. and Information Systems by the University of Minho.  He is currently Full Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Saint Joseph, Macao, China. He is also Full Professor at the Portuguese Open University; where he founded and was the first Director during 8 years of the Doctoral Program in Digital Media Art, a transdisciplinary joint offer with the University of Algarve taught in e-learning mode. He is researcher at the Research Centre for Arts and Communication; and collaborates with INESC-TEC and LE@D. He is the President of the Artech-International Assoc. with activities in all over the world in the field of digital media art, founder of the ARTECH (Int. Conf. on Digital and Interactive Arts) and ARTeFACTo (Int. Conf. on Digital Creation in Arts and Communication) conf. series. He is a regular consultant of international boards (e.g., European Commission, Macao Science and Technology Development Fund). His research interests embrace different fields from (post-)digital media arts, arteology, media and human rights to digital education. He is author/co-author of more than 120 publications in journals, conf. proceedings, book chapters and science promotion booklets. He is the editor-in-chief of International Journal of Creative Interfaces and Computer Graphics (ISSN: 1947-3117).

Lina Morgado, Laboratório de Educação a Distância e eLearning, Universidade Aberta (Portugal)

Doutora em Educação e professora associada do Departamento de Educação e Ensino a Distância da Universidade Aberta (Portugal) onde coordenou o mestrado em Pedagogia do eLearning. É coordenadora científica centro de investigação e desenvolvimento Laboratório de Educação a Distância e eLearning (LE@D) nesta instituição. É coautora do Modelo Pedagógico Virtual da Universidade Aberta (2007) e responsável pelo programa de formação dos professores para o eLearning desta instituição e outras IES portuguesas desde 2007. Tem integrado projetos de investigação e inovação nacional e internacional na área da educação distância online e presencial no ensino superior e publicado na área.

Professor associado (livre-docente) da Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo (ECA-USP), no Brasil; é professor permanente do Programa de Pós-graduação Humanidades.
