Resumen
Se presentan los hallazgos sobre las percepciones de los docentes en el trabajo colaborativo de los alumnos según sus estilos de aprendizaje. Dentro de esta investigación se exploran diversas organizaciones de equipos según sus estilos de aprendizaje y se explora su interacción, liderazgo y resultados académicos. El estudio fue desarrollado, desde una perspectiva cualitativa a través del empleo de entrevistas semi estructuradas y observaciones en los foros de discusión en Blackboard, con docentes que imparten un curso a nivel de posgrado en un programa de educación en línea. Los datos recabados parecen indicar que los equipos con mayor interacción son aquellos conformados por dos o más estilos de aprendizaje, así como los equipos conformados por los estilos reflexivo y teórico como los más efectivos y funcionales dentro de los cuatro estilos del CHAEA.
COLLABORATION IN VIRTUAL SPACES THROUGH LEARNING STYLES FROM A TEACHER: A CASE STUDY
Abstract
Findings are presented on the perceptions of teachers in the collaborative work of students according to their learning styles. Within this research explores various organizations of equipment according to their learning styles and explores their interaction, leadership and academic results.The study from the qualitative research was conducted with teachers who teach at the graduate level course in an online education program. Semi structured interviews were applied to participants and discussion forums were observed and analyzed from the platform Blackboard.The data suggests that teams with greater interaction are those formed by two or more learning styles, as well as teams of Reflective and Theoretical styles as the most effective and functional among the four styles CHAEA.
