Los estilos de aprendizaje representan en la educación actual un instrumento necesario para desarrollar en las instituciones educativas una enseñanza de calidad. El hecho de conocer la predominancia de los Estilos de Aprendizaje que presentan nuestros alumnos es fundamental para adaptar las metodologías docentes a sus características, ello va a contribuir a elevar su rendimiento académico.
Es preciso conocer el papel que juegan las metodologías docentes en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Dichas metodologías se concretan en una serie de estrategias didácticas que trataremos de definir.
Para que el profesorado pueda manejar dichas estrategias de una manera eficiente y ordenada, proponemos unas líneas de acción para diseñar estrategias didácticas de una manera adecuada en la planificación del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.
Los Estilos de Aprendizaje al igual que la Inteligencia Emocional son ámbitos del desarrollo social, personal y académico. Por este motivo es preciso prestarles una atención especial en el proceso educativo.
