El perfil idóneo para el candidato a un Programa Educativo Internacional: la importancia del enfoque de aprendizaje

En un contexto educativo global marcado por iniciativas destinadas a fomentar la educación superior internacional, se abre un panorama amplio y de grandes oportunidades para los estudiantes universitarios. Uno de los caminos más comúnmente elegidos por la Instituciones de Educación Superior (IES) es el de establecer Programas Educativos Internacionales (PEI), con la posibilidad de llevar asignaturas en movilidad internacional en IES en el extranjero. Esto establece requerimientos particulares para los estudiantes candidatos para estos PEI y los perfiles idóneos para su éxito en estos programas. En esta investigación se analizan las variables enfoque de aprendizaje, compromiso académico y rendimiento académico como indicadores básicos en estos perfiles; así como el impacto que tiene elegir determinado enfoque de aprendizaje en el rendimiento académico y el compromiso que denotan los estudiantes durante el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje.
