Resumen
Este trabajo analiza algunos aspectos pedagógicos que son clave para optimizar el aprendizaje. Una acción práctica eficiente comienza por hacer realidad la disminución de desencuentros entre estilos de enseñanza y estilos de aprendizaje. Por tanto, es necesario que el docente conozca los modos de aproximarse al aprendizaje del alumnado, sus actitudes, valores, diferencias culturales, destrezas y hábitos de estudio. Ello conduce a asumir una praxis pedagógica que priorice la reflexión para conseguir un cambio didáctico y un proceso de enseñanza más individualizado como medio para evitar el fracaso escolar. El fin último es elevar la calidad de la enseñanza resaltando la importancia de vincular los estilos de aprendizaje y estilos de enseñanza. En consecuencia, se presentan los resultados de una investigación desarrollada en la Universidad de Vigo con el propósito de descubrir los estilos de enseñanza de los estudiantes de Magisterio.
STYLES OF TEACHING AND LEARNING AS A TEACHING SUPPORT
Abstract
This paper analyzes some pedagogical aspects that are key to optimize learning. An efficient intervention begins when the teacher reduce the possibility of disagreements between teaching styles and learning styles. It is therefore necessary that the teacher knows the ways of approaching student learning, attitudes, values, cultural differences, skills and study habits. This leads to assume a pedagogical practice that prioritizes reflection to get an educational change and more personalized teaching process as action to prevent school failure. The objective is to improve the quality of education emphasizing the importance of linking learning styles and teaching styles. This article presents the results of research conducted in the Vigo University in order to discover the teaching styles preferred by students of the Teacher Training Degree.
