Resumo: O conceito de estilo de aprendizagem, independentemente do modelo, reenvia para uma forma usual e consistente dos sujeitos se apropriarem e transformarem a informação. Foi nosso objectivo neste trabalho estudar de que forma a variável sexo dos sujeitos pode influenciar o estilo de aprendizagem, bem como o seu ciclo de aprendizagem. Isto é, procuramos relacionar o comportamento dos estilos em função do sexo dos sujeitos. Para isso utilizámos uma amostra de 995 sujeitos, sendo 51,2 do sexo feminino e 48,8% do sexo masculino. A média de idades era de 41 anos.
Os nossos resultados apontam para uma relação estatisticamente significativa entre o sexo dos sujeitos e os estilos de aprendizagem.
LEARNING STYLES AND GENDER
Abstract: The concept of learning style, regardless of the model, it sends to an usual and a consistent way of the subject to appropriate and transform information. Our aim in this work was to study how the sex of the subjects can influence the learning style and they learning cycle. That is, we try to relate the behavior of styles depending on the sex of the subjects. For this we used a sample of 995 subjects, 51.2% were female and 48.8% were male. The average age was 41 years. Our results point to a statistically significant relationship between the sex of subjects and learning styles.
