RESUMEN
El estudio esta basado en la relación existente entre los estilos y estrategias de aprendizaje y el rendimiento académico en los estudiantes de la Universidad Peruana ―Los Andes‖ de la Facultad de Educación y Ciencias Humanas. La población para la investigación esta constituida por 485 estudiantes de estudios regulares de la Facultad de Educación y Ciencias Humanas, de la cual se tomó una muestra de 135 estudiantes del VI ciclo de las especialidades de Educación Inicial, Educación Primaria, Computación e Informática y Lengua - Literatura. El instrumento utilizado fue el Cuestionario Honey - Alonso de Estilos de Aprendizaje (CHAEA) y el Cuestionario de Román J.M, Gallego S, de estrategias de aprendizaje (ACRA), y para medir el rendimiento académico se utilizaron las actas consolidadas del año académico 2010-II.Se identificaron que los estudiantes utilizan los estilos de aprendizaje de manera diferenciada, siendo de menor utilización el estilo pragmático y de mayor uso el estilo reflexivo; así mismo la estrategia más utilizada es de codificación y la menos usada el apoyo al procedimiento, en cuento al rendimiento académico los estudiantes se ubican en el nivel bueno. La relación entre las variables de estudio fueron; los estilos de aprendizaje tiene una relación significativa de 0.745 y las estrategias de aprendizaje 0.721 con el rendimiento académico, existiendo una relación positiva significativa según la r de pearson.
LEARNING STYLES AND STRATEGIES FOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT OF THE STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY PERU "Los Andes" of Huancayo - Peru
ABSTRACT
The study was based on the relationship of the styles and strategies for learning, with the academic performance in the students of the Peruvian University "Los Andes" in the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences. The study population consisted of 485 students of regular surveys of the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences, which took a sample of 135 students of VI cycle the specialities of Initial Education, Primary Education, computer and information and Language - Literature. The instrument used was the Questionnaire Honey - Alonso of learning styles (CHAEA) and the Questionnaire on Román J. M, Gallego S, learning strategies (ACRA), and for the academic performances were used the records consolidated the year 2010-II.Identified that students use the learning styles a differentiated, being less use the style pragmatic and greater use the style reflective; likewise the strategy more used is codification and less used the support of the procedure, in story to the academic performance students are located in the level good. The relationship between the variables of study were; the learning styles have a significant relationship of 0,745 and learning strategies 0,721, with the academic performance, there is a positive relationship significant according to the r pearson.
