APLICACIÓN DE LOS ESTILOS DE APRENDIZAJE PARA LA DETERMINACIÓN DE LOS GRUPOS DE RIESGO EN LA CARRERA DE INFÓRMATICA DE LA UMSA

Resumen:
El diagnóstico de los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de la carrera de Informática de la Universidad Mayor de San Andrés se basó en el método CHAEA con una muestra de 180 estudiantes que cursan diferentes semestres de la carrera. El estudio se realizó en el semestre I/2010 a fin de determinar las preferencias de aprendizaje de los estudiantes e identificar a los grupos en riesgo de repitencia, en base a la comparación de medias y evaluación de las desviaciones estándar, según las variables de análisis: edad, género, colegio de procedencia y rendimiento académico. Los resultados han permitido determinar el siguiente orden de preferencias: Pragmático, Teórico, Reflexivo y Activo y se han identificado diversos grupos de riesgo. El estudio plantea un conjunto de propuestas de mejora.
