Abstract:
This investigation is focused on the identification of learning styles of 468 students studying at public schools at the cities of Rabat, Temara, Skhirate and Sale of the Kingdom of Morocco. It includes a part of the results obtained in a study by researchers at the University of Murcia and University of Mohamed V-Soussi Rabat. Our intention is to understand individual differences in specific learning profiles of these students according to the location they study at (city, district), grade and socioeconomic status of schools. The Canfield Learning Styles Inventory (CLSI) (Canfield, 1976, 1988) has been used. The results suggest the existence of a variety of types of learning styles and differences between the students’ learning styles depending on age, grade, socioeconomic status of the city or school in which they are studying.
