Resumen:
A partir de los antecedentes en las investigaciones sobre estilos de aprendizaje, así como de las tendencias más actuales de sus modelos explicativos, se enfatiza en la necesidad de enfocar estos estudios hacia una teoría psicopedagógica que explique la génesis de las diferencias individuales para aprender y donde se integren las mejores experiencias obtenidas en este campo de investigación; de tal manera que se convierta en un recurso de ayuda para el establecimiento de estrategias personalizadas de aprendizaje, tanto para los docentes como para los estudiantes. El objetivo del artículo es valorar los antecedentes en las investigaciones sobre estilos de aprendizaje y las tendencias actuales de sus modelos explicativos, así como proponer una nueva definición con sus correspondientes dimensiones que faciliten su caracterización como recurso para favorecer la utilización de estrategias personalizadas de aprendizaje.
The investigations about learning styles and its explaining models
Abstract:
Taking into account both the research antecedents about learning styles and the most contemporary tendencies reflected in the explanatory models the necessity to focus on the studies towards a psychopedagogy theory explaining the origin of individual learning differences and integrating the research experiences obtained is emphasized in such a way that it may be used as a tool to establish personal learning strategies for the students and teachers.
