Resumen:
En este trabajo se analizan algunas variables que nos permiten aportar elementos con vista a una aproximación del perfil socio-académico y cognitivo de los alumnos que cursan la asignatura Bioestadística. Además la Teoría de los Estilos de Aprendizaje de Alonso, Gallego y Honey (1999) y la aplicación de su instrumento de diagnóstico el CHAEA (Cuestionario Honey-Alonso de Estilos de Aprendizaje) ha permitido vincular los Estilos de Aprendizaje con variables tales como: género, rendimiento académico y formación obtenida en el ciclo medio. Del análisis resulta la individualización de grupos de alumnos con características similares en las distintas variables consideradas.
Abstract:
In this work, some variables are analyzed so that they allow us to contribute with elements in order to have an approach of the partner-academic and cognitive profile of the students attending the subject Biostatistics. Moreover, the Theory of Learning Styles of Alonso, Gallego and Honey (1999) and the application of the diagnostic instrument CHAEA (Honey-Alonso Learning Styles Questionnaire) have let us link the Learning Styles with variables such as gender, academic performance and training obtained at secondary school. The result of this analysis is the distinction of groups of students with similar characteristics in the variables that were considered.
