O presente artigo apresenta resultados dos estudos e das atividades realizadas durante o Projeto Prossiga da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU) no Brasil envolvendo o curso de Jornalismo. Com a intenção de investigar os principais motivos da evasão acadêmica em disciplinas que possuem alto índice de reprovação dos alunos de graduação o projeto Prossiga utilizou metodologia diferenciada e pesquisa participante para, com a contribuição de voluntários de diferentes áreas, pensar a respeito da questão central da evasão a partir de reflexões acerca dos diferentes estilos de aprendizagem. Após aplicação de questionário para censo no curso selecionado os resultados indicaram uma alteração no índice de aprovação após ingresso dos recursos considerando os estilos dos discentes e docentes no curso.
