Estilos de aprendizaje en estudiantes de obstetricia y puericultura de la Universidad de la Frontera durante el año 2013

El artículo comprende un análisis descriptivo de los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de primer a cuarto año de la carrera de Obstetricia y Puericultura de la Universidad de La Frontera durante el año 2013. Se aplicó el cuestionario Honey - Alonso de manera auto administrada a los participantes. La muestra incluye 156 estudiantes siendo el 96% del universo estudiado. Las variables demográficas utilizadas fueron sexo, curso y edad. Se utilizaron los programas STATA 14.0 y Excel en el análisis. Los resultados obtenidos fueron los siguientes: El estilo preferente es el teórico, cerca están los estilos activo y pragmático, el estilo reflexivo es el que presenta las preferencias baja y muy baja en forma destacada. Por ello se propone reforzar con estrategias de aprendizaje implementables como: trabajos escritos en todos los niveles, informes de proceso, foros de discusión, pruebas formativas por plataforma con completar frases, términos pareados y en clases usar tecleras con preguntas de concordar y discordar.
