LOS ESTILOS DE APRENDIZAJE Y EL DESARROLLO DE LA COMPETENCIA LINGÜÍSTICA EN ALUMNOS DE SEXTO GRADO DE EDUCACIÓN PRIMARIA

El estudio buscó determinar cómo influyen los estilos de aprendizaje en el desarrollo de la competencia lingüística y de qué manera o en qué grado están presentes dichos estilos. La investigación se desarrolló con un grupo de sexto grado en una escuela primaria urbana mediante un estudio mixto. Se aplicó el CHAEA para la identificación de los estilos de aprendizaje, entrevistas a los alumnos y profesora, y registro de observaciones. Se concluyó que la coincidencia entre el estilo reflexivo de la profesora y el de algunos alumnos no está relacionada con un mayor desarrollo de la competencia lingüística. La relación entre estilos de aprendizaje y la competencia lingüística radica, primero, en el estudio, reconocimiento, identificación y aprovechamiento de los estilos de cada alumno y, segundo, en el bagaje de recursos, motivación, sistema de valores, ambiente y situaciones de aprendizaje que el docente provea a sus alumnos.
