El propósito de este trabajo es analizar algunos aspectos pedagógicos claves para optimizar el aprendizaje. Es necesario que el docente conozca los modos de aproximarse al aprendizaje de los alumnos con el fin de elevar la calidad de la enseñanza, resaltando la importancia de vincular los estilos de aprendizaje y los estilos de enseñanza. Se determinó el estilo de aprendizaje a través del cuestionario LSI de Kolb, aplicado a estudiantes y profesores universitarios y a fisioterapeutas. En todos los grupos predominó el estilo divergente. La investigación realizada propone un análisis crítico de los resultados, así como de las implicaciones de la determinación de los estilos de aprendizaje para la docencia.
