Resumen

The present study aims to know the factors of emotional intelligence predict happiness at participating adolescents. The sample consists of 646 students of Obligatory Secondary Education of Cáceres, aged between 12 and 17 years. The 47.5% of the sample were female and 52.5% male. Assessment instruments used were the TMMS-24 and the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire. The initial purpose of this investigation was to examine the predictive relationship between emotional intelligence and happiness in students of secondary school.
