Resumo. A educação atualmente é uma prioridade. Dentro desta esfera, a relação professor-aluno tem sido alvo de vários estudos. Na tentativa de explicar um pouco melhor as incompatibilidades entre os estilos de aprendizagem dos alunos da Faculdade de Tecnologia de Taquaritinga e de um professor, que será chamado de Professor X, e no sentido de entender os altos índices de reprovação e desistência em uma disciplina por ele ministrada, após entrevista e aplicação de questionário optou-se por aplicar um teste, o Inventário de Estilos de Aprendizagem de Kolb (ILS) que operacionaliza o modelo de aprendizagem por ele desenvolvido e que fornece uma boa estrutura para determinar as preferências do Professor X na utilização de estratégias de ensino. Este trabalho investiga e analisa como o conhecimento dos estilos de aprendizagem dos alunos e dos professores pode contribuir para a elaboração de estratégias de ensino, tornando-o mais eficiente.
KOLB LEARNING STYLE: STRATEGIES TO IMPROVE THE LEARNING PROCESS
Abstract.
Education today is a priority. So, the relationship teacher-student has been the subject of several studies. In attempting to explain a little better the incompatibilities between the learning styles of students from the Taquaritinga University of Technology and a teacher, to be called Professor X, and in order to understand the high rates of repetition and dropout in a discipline by he conducted after the interview and questionnaire was decided to apply a test, the Kolb Inventory of Learning Styles (ILS) that operates the learning model developed by him and which provides a good framework to determine the preferences of Professor X the use of teaching strategies. This work investigates and analyzes how knowledge of learning styles of students and teachers can contribute to the development of teaching strategies, making it more efficient.
